On September 10, 2013, citizens in the City of Orangeburg, South Carolina, will have an opportunity to vote for a new Mayor. Our city is in need of a change. The only way to effect that change is if "Write-in" candidate, Attorney Zipporah Mapp Sumpter, receives a sufficient number of votes. That’s why it is very important to show your support. This election is historical, as our city has never elected an African American or female for Mayor. I am proud to be both. However, this race for Mayor will not be an easy one. From the very beginning, I have been faced with seemingly insurmountable obstacles and controversy. I am convinced that no matter what challenges I face, I will continue to move forward and meet every one head on.
In order for me to defeat these challenges and controversy I will need your prayers and support. That is why I am asking for your contributions to assist my campaign in winning this race.
